heal.abstract	Η παρούσα εργασία μελετά την σύγχρονη αρχιτεκτονική στη Μάνη, όπως διαμορφώθηκε μέσα από την ανέγερση μεταγενέστερων κτιρίων – κυρίως κατοικιών – και την αποκατάσταση και επανάχρηση υπαρχόντων κελυφών. Πρόκειται για μια ερευνητική εργασία μέσω της οποίας επιχειρείται η κατανόηση και καταγραφή παραμέτρων που έχουν κατά νου οι αρχιτέκτονες σε τόπους με ιδιαίτερο ιστορικό και αρχιτεκτονικό υπόβαθρο και το βαθμό της ένταξης τέτοιων επεμβάσεων σε αυτό το τοπίο. Έχουν επιλεχθεί 7 κατοικίες από τη Μεσσηνιακή και τη Λακωνική Μάνη της τελευταίας δεκαετίας - νεόδμητες και αποκατεστημένες - οι οποίες περιγράφονται και συγκρίνονται μεταξύ τους, από την τοποθεσία μέχρι τα υλικά και την επίπλωση. Επίσης, έχουμε συζητήσει με τους αρχιτέκτονες του κάθε έργου, θέτοντας κάποια ερωτήματα σε μορφή συνέντευξης, προκειμένου να αντιληφθούμε τις μεθόδους και τις αρχές σχεδιασμού στα έργα που έχουν μελετήσει στο συγκεκριμένο τόπο, τη διαχείριση της ιστορικότητας, του φυσικού περιβάλλοντος, του αναγλύφου και, κυρίως, της αρχιτεκτονικής κληρονομιάς. Μέσω αυτής της έρευνας βλέπουμε πού ένας αρχιτέκτονας έχει μεγαλύτερη ελευθερία στις χειρονομίες και στις μορφές ή πού πρέπει να ακολουθήσει αυστηρά συγκεκριμένες τυπολογίες και μεγέθη.	el
heal.abstract	The current thesis is studying the contemporary architecture of Mani, in a way that has been shaped after the construction of new buildings – mainly residences – and the restoration and maintenance of existing ones. Through this researching essay, it is attempted to apprehend and list the parameters which the architects take into consideration at areas with special historic and architectural background, as well as, the rate of integration of interventions at this landscape. seven residences of Messinian and Laconic Mani, built in the last decade (newly built and restorated) have been selected and analyzed on a great scale, then compared to each other on various levels; from each location to the materials and furniture. Moreover, we have discussed with the architects of the residences and we have set some questions to them through an interview, in order to fully understand the methods of the design of implemented constructions in the area, how they handled with the historicity, the natural environment, the anaglyph and, of course, the architectural heritage. Through this research we can tell where the architect can draw more freely or where they have to strictly follow specific typologies and sizes.	en
