heal.abstract	In this lecture, the way in which the design of space and its constituent elements in cinema contribute to the evolution of the dramatic action and the final artistic result is explored. The used methodology is the work of Alfred Hitchcock. Four of his most important films are selected, and after summarizing their plots, a brief analysis is made of the technical characteristics mainly used by Hitchcock in these films (orchestration, single set, significance of objec ts). Finally, in each of the films, a main term-protocol is identified and analyzed, a fundamental spatial characteristic that forms the axis of the structure of the dramatic space in each film. These are the unified and unchanging space in Rope, the discontinuity in Rear Window, the scale and the call to the void in Vertigo, and the two entities of the moral space in Psycho.	en
