heal.abstract	Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία αφορά στην πολυκατοίκιση, όπως αυτή εκφράζεται στην ελληνική πόλη από την πολυκατοικία, η επανάληψη της οποίας είναι αυτή που έχει διαμορφώσει σε ένα πολύ μεγάλο βαθμό το σύγχρονο ελληνικό αστικό τοπίο. Με λίγες εξαιρέσεις, η πολυκατοικία, ανέκαθεν, αντιμετωπίστηκε ως ένα κτίριο που προκύπτει από την επανάληψη τυπικών ορόφων, ο οποίοι αντιμετωπίζονται αυτόνομα χωρίς να συσχετίζεται ο ένας με τον άλλον πέρα από το κοινόχρηστο κλιμακοστάσιο . Στόχος της παρούσας εργασίας είναι η διερεύνηση μιας διαφορετικής θεώρησης της πολυκατοικίας η οποία θα ευνοεί την συσχέτιση και διάδραση των κατοίκων, τόσο μεταξύ τους, όσο και με την γειτονιά και την πόλη. Μεθοδολογικά, η εργασία βασίστηκε στην συγκροτημένη ανάδυση μιας σειράς από προσωπικές μνήμες και βιώματα κατοίκησης, όπου αναλύθηκαν οικείοι τόποι κατοίκησης, όπου εντοπίστηκαν συγκεκριμένες χωρικές ποιότητες, οι οποίες, αποτέλεσαν τον βασικό άξονα σχεδιασμού. Πρόθεσή λοιπόν ήταν να διερευνηθούν οι τρόποι με τους οποίους θα μπορούσαν να δημιουργηθούν οι συνθήκες επανεφεύρεσης των σχέσεων αυτών στον σύγχρονο τρόπο κατοίκησης σχεδιάζοντας μία πολυκατοικία σε ένα τεταμένο αστικό περιβάλλον, όπως αυτό των Κάτω Πατησίων.	el
heal.abstract	This design thesis deals with the notion of multi-dwelling, as it is has been expressed in the Greek city, by the well-known apartment building type known as polykatoikia, the perpetual repetition of which has shaped the modern Greek urban landscape. With few exceptions, the polykatoikia is based on the pilling of typical floors, without any connecting between each other, apart from the minimum staircase. The thesis explored a different way of design which would favor the residents’ social relations with each other, with the neighborhood and with the city. Methodologically, the thesis started from the revelation of personal memories and experiences of habitation which were systematically analyzed by identified certain particular qualities, which formed the backbone of the design. The thesis reinvented these spatial relationships to fit in the contemporary way of living in the city of Athens by designing a polykatoikia in the extremely of Kato Patisia.	en
