heal.abstract	Τα ορειβατικά καταφύγια αποτελούν έναν ιδιαίτερο τύπο κτηρίου, τόσο κοινωνικά, ως χώροι που περιβάλλουν μια μικρή ανθρώπινη κοινότητα μέσα σε ένα επιβλητικό και συχνά άγριο περιβάλλον, όσο και αρχιτεκτονικά, ως κτίσματα με ειδικές κατασκευαστικές και ενεργειακές προδιαγραφές. Αυτές τις ισορροπίες τις είδαμε σαν αφορμή για να επεξεργαστούμε αρχετυπικά ζητήματα του αρχιτεκτονικού σχεδιασμού: τη σχέση δομημένου και φυσικού, εσωτερικού-εξωτερικού, δημοσίου και ιδιωτικού. Η πρόταση στηρίχθηκε στην ιδέα μιας ελάχιστης χειρονομίας που θα συγκέραζε τους κατασκευαστικούς και ενεργειακούς περιορισμούς του κτηρίου με την ανάγκη αφενός για αναφορά σε ένα εσωτερικό κέντρο και αφετέρου για αρμονία με το περιβάλλον τοπίο. Η εργασία περιλαμβάνει μια πρώτη φάση μελέτης του υπάρχοντος δικτύου μονοπατιών και καταφυγίων στην Ελλάδα και κυρίως στην Πίνδο, από την οποία προέκυψε και η επιλογή του Γράμμου. Ο Γράμμος επιλέχθηκε ως ένα από τα ψηλότερα βουνά της χώρας με μεγάλες χιλιομετρικές αποστάσεις, ιστορικό και λαογραφικό πλούτο, και μεγάλο ορειβατικό ενδιαφέρον λόγω της θέσης του στη μεθόριο. Σε δεύτερη φάση μελετήθηκε εκτενώς ο ορεινός όγκος του Γράμμου από άποψη ιστορική, κοινωνικοχωρική και τοπιακή προκειμένου να προσδιοριστεί η ακριβής θέση της πρότασης. Σε όλη τη διάρκεια της έρευνας μελετήθηκαν παραδείγματα καταφυγίων από την Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό, κυρίως από τις Άλπεις. Έτσι η εργασία ξεκινά από μια κλίμακα ανάλυσης 1:20.000 και φτάνει στην οικοδομική επίλυση του κτηρίου.	el
heal.abstract	Mountain refuges constitute a special type of building, both socially, as spaces that surround a small human community in an imposing and often harsh environment, and architecturally, as buildings with special construction and energy requirements. We saw these particularities as an occasion to elaborate on archetypical architectural issues: the relationship between the built and the natural, the interior and the exterior, the public and the private. The proposal was based on the idea of a minimum gesture that would converge the structural and energy constraints of the building with the need to reference an interior centre on the one hand and to be in harmony with the surrounding landscape on the other. The work includes a first phase study of the existing network of trails and shelters in Greece, especially in Pindos, which resulted in the choice of Grammos. Grammos was chosen as one of the highest mountains in the country with long distance routes, rich historical and ethnographic heritage, and great mountaineering interest due to its location on the border. In a second phase, the mountain complex of Grammos was extensively studied from a historical, socio-spatial and territorial perspective in order to determine the exact location of the proposal. Throughout the research, examples of shelters from Greece and abroad, mainly from the Alps, were studied. Thus, the work starts from a 1:20.000 scale of analysis and reaches the construction detail design scale.	en
