heal.abstract	Ο σχεδιασμός δίνει έμφαση στη βραχυπρόθεσμη συμβίωση μεταξύ των γενεών και στην ισότιμη πρόσβαση στο πράσινο, εστιάζοντας στην ενεργητική και παθητική αναψυχή, μαζί με απτικές και αισθητηριακές εμπειρίες. Τα επιπρόσθετα στοιχεία του πάρκου αποτελούν "μόρια" διαφόρων χρήσεων και μεγεθών που αναμειγνύουν στον προγραμματισμό τους χρήσεις καθ'όλη τη διάρκεια της ημέρας αλλά και της νύχτας, όπως για παράδειγμα δημιουργική απασχόληση παιδιών, εστίες μάθησης, χώροι εστίασης, γήπεδα εκγύμνασης, κ.α. Ο σχεδιασμός, η διάταξη και η κλίμακα κάθε μορίου διαφέρει και είναι ευέλικτα, ώστε το πάρκο να μπορεί να προσαρμόζεται στις ανάγκες της πόλης. Τα μόρια είναι στρατηγικά τοποθετημένα σε ένα ανοιχτό γκαζόν που μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί για αναψυχή, παραστάσεις και εκδηλώσεις γενικότερα. Ταυτόχρονα, δύο υπερυψωμένα ορόσημα προσπελάσονται σε αντιδιαμετρικά σημεία του γηπέδου, βοηθώντας τον προσανατολισμό των πεζών. Ο προβλεπόμενος σχεδιασμός μετριάζει επίσης τα περιβαλλοντικά ζητήματα από τον γειτνιάζων αυτοκινητόδρομο και το ασφυκτικά δομημένο περιβάλλον- καθώς η ενίσχυση του πρασίνου θα μειώσει τον θόρυβο και την ατμοσφαιρική ρύπανση στις γειτονικές περιοχές . Οι περιοχές διήθησης και οι επιπρόσθετες δεντροκαλύψεις θα συμβάλουν στην ανακούφιση των επιδεινούμενων προβλημάτων των όμβριων υδάτων της πόλης και του φαινομένου της αστικής θερμονησίδας.	el
heal.abstract	The architectural history of the former Tempelhof airport, the turbulent conditions under which it has been found in recent history and the modern uses it accommodates, along with my own lived experiences, created the conditions for the genesis of this thesis, which, on the occasion of a 2014 referendum to use the park in a more organic way, proposes a gentle redesign of this place, aimed at enhancing the sustainability and resilience of the landscape with the minimum possible interventions. This thesis aims to be a framework adaptable to the way the community wants to experience and use the public space. In contrast to the construction of -growing- urban planning, the design of Tempelhofer Feld is only governed by a set of design axes with suggestions from the residents themselves and users in general. The park and the collaborative process itself aim to revive the spirit of the public open space, highlighting the vibrant possibilities when people of all ages and backgrounds can come together and experience the space. The design emphasizes intergenerational symbiosis and equitable access to green space, focusing on active and passive recreation, along with tactile and sensory experiences. The park consists of "molecules" of uses of various sizes that mix all age groups in their programming. The design of each molecule is flexible so that the park can adapt to the needs of the city. Berliners who live, work and study in the city centre are the main users of the park, so the layout, scale and programming of the 'molecules' depends on their feedback. The last ones are strategically placed on an open lawn that can be used for recreation, performances or events. At the same time, two elevated landmarks are accessed at opposing points on the field, helping to orient pedestrians. The intended design also mitigates environmental issues from the freeway and the suffocatingly structured environment; as the enhanced green space will reduce noise and air pollution from the freeway in the adjacent neighborhoods. Infiltration areas and tree cover will help alleviate the city's worsening stormwater problems and heat island effect. Parks and open spaces are vital to fostering physical and mental health, and equitable access to green spaces is critical to community health and social cohesion.	en
