heal.abstract	Η παρούσα εργασία διερευνά την αναθεώρηση των ορίων του σκηνικού χώρου και τον επαναπροσδιορισμό του ρόλου του θεατή σε περισσότερο ενεργό ‘συντελεστή’ κατά την διάρκεια μιας παράστασης. Η τοποθεσία, δίπλα από το πάρκο του Ευαγγελισμού, επιλέγεται βάση της πρωτότυπης χαρτογράφησης των θεάτρων του κέντρου των Αθηνών που έγινε καθώς και λόγω της γειτνίασης της με το ωδείο των Αθηνών. Η σχεδιαστική επίλυση στοχεύει ταυτόχρονα στο να λειτουργήσει ως ‘συνέχεια’ των εκατέρωθεν πάρκων αλλά και στο να δημιουργήσει ένα χώρο για τις παραστατικές τέχνες που να ανταποκρίνεται στις ανάγκες των καλλιτεχνών και των υπόλοιπων χρηστών του. Έτσι αναπτύσσονται δύο αντιθετικά συστήματα: αυτό της ροϊκής τοπιακής αρχιτεκτονικής του ισογείου, που φιλοξενεί τον ιδιόμορφο χώρο για τις παραστάσεις, και αυτό της υπέργειας ‘ορθοκανονικής’ κτιριακής προσθήκης. Η αντίθεση μεταξύ των δύο συστημάτων είναι που δημιουργεί τον έντονο χαρακτήρα της παρέμβασης και συγκροτεί έναν χώρο ικανό να αποτελέσει ένα πρωτότυπο κέντρο για τις παραστατικές τέχνες αλλά και ένα κέντρο για την ευρύτερη περιοχή που τον περιβάλλει. Ο σχεδιασμός τροφοδοτήθηκε καθόλη την διάρκεια εκπόνησης της διπλωματικής εργασίας από την θεωρητική διερεύνηση των εννοιών του ‘ενεργού θεατή’ και του ‘ρευστού σκηνικού χώρου’, από την εμβάθυνση σε σχεδιαστικές λύσεις αντίστοιχων κτισμένων παραδειγμάτων του εξωτερικού αλλά και από δύο εκτεταμένες φάσεις συζητήσεων με επτά άτομα ειδικοτήτων για τα οποία θεωρητικά προορίζεται αυτός ο χώρος.	el
heal.abstract	This diploma thesis explores the revision of the boundaries of the stage and the redefinition of the role of the spectator to a more ‘active participant’ during a performance. The location next to the parc of Evangelismos, is chosen based on the original mapping of the theaters of the center of Athens as well as due to its proximity to the Athens Conservatoire. The design proposal aims to simultaneously function as a ‘continuation’ of the parcs that surround it and to create a space for the performing arts that meets the needs of its users, artists or not. Thus, two contrasting systems are developed: that of the fluid landscape architecture of the ground floor, where the main stage is found and that of the building levels of the first and second floor where the rest of the facilities can be found. The contradictory nature of the two systems is what creates the strong character of the intervention and therefore constitutes a space capable of being an original center for the performing arts while also providing a cultural center for the wider area that surrounds it. The design process was fueled throughout all stages of the diploma thesis by research. First by the theoretical investigation of the concepts of the ‘active spectator’ and the ‘fluid stage space’. Secondly, by the in-depth study of other design solutions of build examples mainly from abroad and finally by two extensive phases of discussions and interviews with seven professionals whose specialties correspond to the future users of the space.
