heal.abstract |
The aim of the thesis is to model three propulsion systems, one conventional and two hybrid ones, via Matlab Simulink. After the modelling, three different simulations, that represent three voyages with different requested power, are executed in order to compare the fuel consumption and decide which of the three models is more environmentally friendly and more correctly structrured based on a ruled-based energy management system that has been applied to the hybrid configurations. |
