heal.abstract	Η αφθονία και η έλλειψη είναι λέξεις που στέκονται αντιδιαμετρικά ενός φάσματος. Αναγνωρίζοντας τη ρευστότητα της αλληλεξάρτησης των δυαδικών αντιθέσεων, η σχάση των αυστηρών ορίων αυτών των εννοιών, εντοπίζεται από «το Καταραμένο απόθεμα» του Bataille μέχρι την «Καταναλωτική κοινωνία» του Baudrillard. «Το Καταραμένο Απόθεμα» αποτελεί μια θεωρία πολιτικής οικονομίας, μια κοπερνίκεια επανάσταση, αναποδογυρίζοντας τις αρχές της κλασσικής οικονομίας, μέσω της κατηγορηματικής απόρριψης του συμβατικού δόγματος που θέτει τη χρησιμότητα και την αναγκαιότητα ως άξονες του οικονομικού λόγου, φανερώνοντας την ‘έλλειψη’ ως πυρήνα τους. Στον ίδιο ρυθμό «η Καταναλωτική Κοινωνία» αναγνωρίζει ότι η σύγχρονη επιταγή προς σπάταλη κατανάλωση συνυφαίνεται μέσα από μύθους αφθονίας, ενώ η έλλειψη συνεχίζει να υπάρχει σε λανθάνουσα μορφή στο πυρήνα της καπιταλιστικής παραγωγής. Αν ο αρχιτεκτονικός σχεδιασμός βρίσκει πολλές φορές τις λύσεις στα υπαρξιακά του ζητήματα μέσα στα επέκεινα του πολέμου των δυαδικών αντιθέσεων, εδώ ρωτάμε: που στέκεται η αρχιτεκτονική πράξη στο φάσμα της αφθονίας και της έλλειψης; Από το ‘less is more’ μέχρι την ρωσική πρωτοπορία η αρχιτεκτονική αναγνωρίζεται ως μια πρακτική μέσων και σκοπών και παρατηρούμε τη σχέση της με το κεντρικό μας δίπολο.	el
heal.abstract	Abundance and scarcity are words that stand in opposition to a spectrum. Recognizing the fluidity of the interdependence of binary oppositions, the tearing of the strict boundaries of these concepts can be traced from Bataille's "The Accursed Share" to Baudrillard's "The Consumer Society". " The Accursed Share " is a theory of political economy, a Copernican revolution, turning the principles of classical economics upside down through its categorical rejection of the conventional doctrine that posits utility and necessity as the main axes of economic reason, revealing the 'scarcity' as their core. In the same rhythm, “the Consumer Society” recognizes that the contemporary imperative to wasteful consumption is woven from within myths of abundance, while scarcity continues to exist in latent form at the core of capitalist production. If architectural design often finds solutions to its existential questions within the epiphenomena of the war of binary oppositions, here we ask: where does architectural practice stand on the spectrum of abundance and scarcity? From 'less is more' to the Russian avant-garde, architecture is recognized as a practice of means and ends, and we observe its relationship to our central dipole.	en
