heal.abstract	Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία εξετάζει τη σχέση μεταξύ αρχιτεκτονικού σχεδιασμού και εκπαιδευτικών προσεγγίσεων, επικεντρωμένη στη δημιουργία ενός σχολικού συγκροτήματος που προάγει τη μάθηση και ενισχύει την αλληλεπίδραση με την κοινότητα, βασισμένο στην παιδαγωγική φιλοσοφία της Maria Montessori. Η Montessori, με τον ανθρωποκεντρικό της χαρακτήρα, ενθαρρύνει την αυτονομία, την εξερεύνηση και τη συνεργασία, αξίες που αντικατοπτρίζονται στο σχεδιασμό του σχολείου. Το συγκρότημα βρίσκεται σε άμεση σχέση με το φυσικό τοπίο του Υμηττού, το οποίο αξιοποιείται ως πηγή έμπνευσης και εργαλείο μάθησης. Η κεντρική υπαίθρια διαδρομή λειτουργεί ως δημόσιος χώρος, συνδέοντας τις διαφορετικές λειτουργίες του σχολείου και προάγοντας την αλληλεπίδραση με την κοινότητα. Ορισμένοι χώροι, όπως το θέατρο και η βιβλιοθήκη, είναι σχεδιασμένοι με δημόσιο χαρακτήρα και ενθαρρύνουν την ενεργό συμμετοχή των κατοίκων της περιοχής. Παράλληλα, οι αίθουσες διδασκαλίας και τα εργαστήρια οργανώνονται με τέτοιο τρόπο ώστε να προσφέρουν ήρεμη και συγκεντρωτική ατμόσφαιρα για τους μαθητές. Οι κοινόχρηστοι χώροι και η σύνδεση του σχολείου με τον υπαίθριο χώρο ενισχύουν τη συμμετοχή της τοπικής κοινωνίας, καθιστώντας το σχολικό συγκρότημα ένα κέντρο μάθησης και κοινωνικής ζωής.	el
heal.abstract	This thesis examines the relationship between architectural design and educational approaches, focusing on the creation of a school complex that promotes learning and enhances interaction with the community, based on the pedagogical philosophy of Maria Montessori. Montessori’s human-centered approach encourages autonomy, exploration, and collaboration—values reflected in the school design. The complex is situated in direct relation to the natural landscape of Mount Hymettus, which is used as a source of inspiration and a learning tool. The central outdoor pathway functions as a public space, connecting the various functions of the school and fostering interaction with the community. Some spaces, such as the theater and library, are designed with a public character, encouraging active participation from local residents. Meanwhile, the classrooms and workshops are organized in a way that provides a calm and focused atmosphere for students. The shared spaces and the connection of the school with the outdoor environment enhance the involvement of the local community, making the school complex a center for learning and social life.	en
