heal.abstract	Στόχος της εργασίας αυτής είναι η ανάδειξη της βιομηχανικής της κληρονομιάς της Θεσσαλονίκης, μιας πλευράς της ιστορίας της πόλης που μόλις τα τελευταία χρόνια έχει αρχίσει να αναγνωρίζεται η αξία της. Η πρόταση εστιάζει στην επανάχρηση ενός παραδείγματος της ιστορίας αυτής, του βιομηχανικού συγκροτήματος ¨Αλυσίδα¨ στην Ανατολική Θεσσαλονική. Η νέα χρήση έρχεται να συμπληρώσει ένα κενό στο μουσειακό απόθεμα της πόλης. Προτείνεται ένα μουσείο της πόλης, χώρος ανάδειξης του νήματος της ιστορίας της πόλης μέσα από το διαφορετικά ιστορικά της στρώματα. Όπως περιγράφεται και στον τίτλο, ο νέος αυτός χώρος προτίθεται να αποδώσει τα στρώματα ιστορίας της Θεσσαλονίκης στον χώρο ως παλίμψηστο. Έτσι ακριβώς όπως γίνεται στη πόλη, η σύγχρονη ζωή και η κάθε επόμενη εποχή έρχεται να “ακουμπήσει” σε στοιχεία που προϋπήρχαν, για να δημιουργήσει επάνω της τον νέο τρόπο ζωής. Η εργασία ξεκινά με την εις βάθος μελέτη του βιομηχανικού συγκροτήματος, της ζώνης επιρροής του στον αστικό ιστό και του πλαισίου ανάπτυξης και παρακμής του. Στη συνέχεια καθορίζονται οι παράμετροι σύνθεσης της νέας χρήσης στον χώρο που θα επιτρέψουν στο κτιριακό αυτό απόθεμα να γίνει χρήσιμο και να επιστρέψει ως ενεργό στοιχείο του αστικού ιστού.	el
heal.abstract	This work aims to spotlight Thessaloniki's industrial heritage, a dimension of the city's history whose significance has only recently been acknowledged. The proposal centers on reuse the "Alysida" industrial complex in Eastern Thessaloniki, breathing new life into this historic site while addressing a gap in the city's cultural landscape. The envisioned project is a museum dedicated to Thessaloniki's history, designed to weave together the city's diverse historical layers into a coherent narrative. True to its title, this museum aspires to represent Thessaloniki's history as a spatial palimpsest, where successive eras and contemporary life interact with remnants of the past, forging a renewed urban identity. The study begins with a comprehensive analysis of the industrial complex, examining its historical development, impact on the surrounding urban fabric, and eventual decline. It then outlines the framework for integrating new functions into the site, ensuring its transformation into a vibrant and meaningful part of the city's cultural and urban landscape.	en
