heal.abstract	Η Διάλεξη εξετάζει το θέμα του Interior Urbanism, δηλαδή την έννοια του εσωτερικού αστικού χώρου, από την ιστορική του εξέλιξη έως τις σύγχρονες εφαρμογές του. Ξεκινώντας από τον ορισμό του, αναφέρονται διαφορετικές τυπολογίες χώρων που έχουν ιστορικά συνεισφέρει στο εν λόγω φαινόμενο. Στη συνέχεια, εξετάζονται εκτενέστερα δύο σύγχρονα παραδείγματα χώρων εσωτερικής πολεοδομίας, το Chicago Pedway και τα Hong Kong Walkways. Μέσα από παρατηρήσεις που προκύπτουν από την παραπάνω ανάλυση, διερευνόνται οι συμπεριφορικές διαφορές μεταξύ δημόσιων και ιδιωτικών χώρων, εστιάζοντας σε ελεύθερους και ελεγχόμενους χώρους, καθώς και στον ρόλο της τεχνολογίας στην επιτήρηση και διαμόρφωση της ανθρώπινης συμπεριφοράς. Το Fun Palace του Cedric Price παρουσιάζεται ως ένα πρώιμο πείραμα δυναμικού χώρου αντίστοιχων ποιοτήτων, φέρνοντας στο προσκήνιο το ερώτημα εάν τέτοιες φαντασιώσεις του παρελθόντος γίνονται πραγματικότητα σήμερα. Η διάλεξη προχωρά στη διερεύνηση του διαδικτύου ως νέου υβριδικού δημόσιου χώρου, και έπειτα πιο πειραματικά στην διερεύνηση της χωρικής νοημοσύνης της Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης (AI) αναφορικά ξανά με τη διάκριση μεταξύ δημόσιου και ιδιωτικού.Τέλος, τίθεται το ζήτημα του “Δικαιώματος στην Πόλη” όπως το αναφέρει ο Lefebvre και κατά πόσο οι εσωτερικοποιημένοι αστικοί χώροι - πραγματικοί ή εικονικοί - επηρεάζουν την πρόσβαση, τη συμμετοχικότητα και τη δημοκρατία στις σύγχρονες πόλεις.	el
heal.abstract	The lecture explores the concept of Interior Urbanism, examining the evolution of enclosed urban spaces from their historical origins to their contemporary applications. Beginning with its definition, it presents different typologies of spaces that have historically contributed to this phenomenon. The discussion then delves into two contemporary case studies of interior urbanism: the Chicago Pedway and the Hong Kong Walkways. Observations from these examples help investigate behavioral differences between public and private spaces, with a focus on free vs. controlled environments and the role of technology in surveillance and shaping human behavior. The Fun Palace by Cedric Price is presented as an early experiment in dynamic architecture with similar qualities, raising the question of whether such past visions are becoming a reality today. The lecture then examines the internet as a new hybrid public space, before moving into a more experimental exploration of Artificial Intelligence’s (AI) spatial intelligence in distinguishing between public and private domains. Finally, the discussion addresses Henri Lefebvre’s “Right to the City” and how interiorized urban spaces—both physical and virtual—affect accessibility, participation, and democracy in contemporary cities.	en
