heal.abstract	Η παρούσα εργασία διερευνά τη σχέση μεταξύ αρχιτεκτονικής και μηχανικής στον σχεδιασμό και την κατασκευή των πιστών της Formula 1, αναλύοντας πώς οι τεχνικές προδιαγραφές και τα αρχιτεκτονικά στοιχεία επηρεάζουν την αγωνιστική εμπειρία, την ασφάλεια και τη συνολική θεαματικότητα του αθλήματος. Εξετάζεται η ιστορική εξέλιξη των πιστών, η σημασία των κανονισμών της FIA, καθώς και η διαδικασία σχεδιασμού και ταξινόμησης των αγωνιστικών εγκαταστάσεων. Ειδικότερα, η μελέτη επικεντρώνεται στην ανάλυση τριών εμβληματικών πιστών: Monza, Spa-Francorchamps και Miami International Autodrome, αποτυπώνοντας τα ιδιαίτερα αρχιτεκτονικά και μηχανικά χαρακτηριστικά τους. Μέσα από τη σύγκριση των συγκεκριμένων πιστών, αναδεικνύεται η σύνδεση μεταξύ σχεδιαστικών αποφάσεων, ασφάλειας και απόδοσης των μονοθεσίων, καθώς και η εξέλιξη της τεχνολογίας και της βιωσιμότητας στις σύγχρονες πίστες. Η έρευνα συμβάλλει στην κατανόηση του πώς η αρχιτεκτονική διαμορφώνει τον μηχανοκίνητο αθλητισμό, συνδυάζοντας την αισθητική με την καινοτομία και την αγωνιστική απόδοση.	el
heal.abstract	This paper examines the connection between architecture and engineering in the design and construction of Formula 1 tracks, by analyzing how technical requirements and architectural elements affect the racing experience, safety and overall spectatorship of the sport. The historical development of the track, the importance of FIA regulations, and the process of designing and classifying racing facilities becomes part of the study. In particular, the study focuses on the analysis of three iconic circuits, Monza, Spa-Francorchamps and Miami International Autodrome, capturing their particular architectural and engineering aspects. Through the comparison of these tracks, the link between design solutions, safety and car performance is highlighted, as well as the evolution of technology and sustainability on modern circuits.
