heal.abstract	Η διπλωματική μας εργασία αφορά την προσαρμοστική επανάχρηση του διατηρητέου- πρώην βιομηχανικού εργοστασίου οινοπνευματωδών ειδών Ήβη, το οποίο βρίσκεται χαμηλά στη λεωφόρο Πειραιώς-Αθηνών, στο δήμο Πειραιά, αναξιοποίητο και εγκαταλελειμμένο. Επιλέχθηκε το εργοστάσιο ΗΒΗ γιατί αναγνώστηκε η ανάγκη διατήρησης, λόγω ιστορικότητας μιας και αποτελεί ένα από τα πλέον χαρακτηριστικά δείγματα λιθόκτιστων εργοστασίων πρώτης γενιάς και ένα από τα ελάχιστα εναπομείναντα στον ελλαδικό χώρο. Παράλληλα μας κίνησε το ενδιαφέρον το περιβάλλον στο οποίο βρίσκεται, χαμηλά στην Πειραιώς διότι είναι μία περιοχή που αναπτύσσεται και αλλάζει χαρακτήρα (οικονομικά και κοινωνικά). Με την επέμβαση μας, βασικός στόχος μας είναι να επιτύχουμε την εξωστρέφεια του ΗΒΗ στον Πειραιά και στην Αττική, κάνοντας τη μικρότερη δυνατή επέμβαση ώστε να δημιουργήσουμε λειτουργικούς χώρους και παράλληλα να χρησιμοποιήσουμε όσο το δυνατόν οικολογικότερα υλικά, ώστε να διατηρήσουμε χαμηλό το αποτύπωμα άνθρακα και την ένταση εργασίας. Έτσι επηρεασμένοι από τα ΕΠΣ Φαλήρου και ΧΡΩ.ΠΕΙ., που προοικονομούν την ανάπτυξη της ευρύτερης περιοχής ως ένα υπερτοπικό κέντρο, επιστημονικών και αθλητικών δραστηριοτήτων, επιλέξαμε τη λειτουργεία του κτιρίου ΗΒΗ, το οποίο θεωρήσαμε πως δεδομένου ότι βρίσκεται στο Ο.Τ. 63, θα ήταν χρήσιμο να έχει ένα βοηθητικό/ συμπληρωματικό ρόλο στο ΧΡΩ.ΠΕΙ. Συγκεκριμένα θα δημιουργήσουμε ένα υπερτοπικό κέντρο συνεδριακού χαρακτήρα, που θα μπορούν να λαμβάνουν χώρα εκδηλώσεις, ενημερωτικές παρουσιάσεις, συνεντεύξεις τύπου (press conference) και μικρά σεμινάρια, τα οποία θα συσχετίζονται με τις μελέτες και τα προϊόντα που θα αναπτύσσονται στο ΧΡΩ.ΠΕΙ. αλλά και σε ανεξάρτητες επιχειρήσεις(π.χ. στις Μικρομεσαίες βιοτεχνίες τροφίμων, που είναι εγκατεστημένες στον Πειραιά και θέλουν να αναδείξουν τα προϊόντα τους ή να ενημερωθούν για τον τομέα τους). Τέλος η επεμβασή μας στοχεύει στη διατηρηση του εξωτερικόυ περιβλήματος – όψεις του κτιρίου, κάνοντας όπου χρειάζεται τις απαραίτητες επισκευές και αποκαταστάσεις, και να γεμίσουμε το άδειο δοχείο κέλυφος του πρώην βιομηχανικού κτιρίου ΗΒΗ, με μία ξύλινη πλαισιωτή εσωτερική κατασκευή clt, η οποία ανεξάρτητη από το εξωτερικό κέλυφος θα υπαγορεύει και θα επιτρέπει νέους χώρους, λειτουργίες και κινήσεις.	el
heal.abstract	Our thesis project concerns the adaptive reuse of the preserved former industrial factory of alcoholic beverages, IVI, which is located at the lower part of Piraeus-Athens Avenue, in the municipality of Piraeus, currently unused and abandoned. The IVI factory was selected due to the recognized need for its preservation, given its historical significance as one of the most characteristic examples of first-generation stone-built factories and one of the few remaining in Greece. Additionally, we were intrigued by the surrounding environment, as the lower Piraeus area is developing and undergoing economic and social transformations. Our main goal with this intervention is to achieve the extroversion of IVI in Piraeus and Attica, making the smallest possible intervention to create functional spaces while using the most ecological materials possible. This approach aims to maintain a low carbon footprint and minimize labor intensity. Inspired by the urban planning studies of Faliron (EPS Faliron) and the former CHRO.PEI industrial complex, which foresee the development of the wider area into a supra-local center for scientific and athletic activities, we chose a function for the IVI building that would serve as a complementary facility to CHRO.PEI, given its location in block 63. Specifically, we propose creating a supra-local conference center where events, informational presentations, press conferences, and small seminars can take place. These activities will be related to the studies and products developed at CHRO.PEI, as well as independent businesses, such as small and medium-sized food industries based in Piraeus that seek to promote their products or gain industry insights. Finally, our intervention aims to preserve the external envelope and facades of the building, carrying out necessary repairs and restorations where required. The empty shell of the former industrial IVI building will be filled with a wooden CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber) framed interior structure, which, being independent of the external shell, will dictate and allow for new spaces, functions, and movement within the building.	en
