heal.abstract	Η παρούσα Διάλεξη πραγματεύεται τις κληροδοτούμενες δομές της παραδοσιακής αρχιτεκτονικής μέσα από την ανθρώπινη αντιληπτική διαδικασία, σε μία προσπάθεια ανακάλυψης των βαθύτερων νοηματικών σχέσεων που αυτές εκφράζουν μέσα από την μορφή. Το ερευνητικό ενδιαφέρον πηγάζει από γενικότερα ερωτήματα για τον τρόπο με τον οποίο προσεγγίζεται η παραδοσιακή αρχιτεκτονική από τους σύγχρονους μελετητές και κατά πόσο τελικά επιτυγχάνει να είναι πραγματικά διδακτικός. Ως περίπτωση μελέτης επιλέχθηκαν τα Καπετανόσπιτα που αναπτύχθηκαν κατά τον 16ο και 17ο αιώνα στην Λίνδο της Ρόδου. Η εργασία χωρίζεται στα εξής τρία κεφάλαια. Στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο με τίτλο «Ο Διάλογος με το Παρελθόν», αναλύεται η ιστορία του οικισμού, η μακραίωνη ναυτική του παράδοση και η πολεοδομική του εξέλιξη. Παράλληλα, ερευνάται η καταγωγή της τυπολογίας καθώς και οι επιρροές της από την Ιπποτική Αρχιτεκτονική. Το δεύτερο κεφάλαιο με τίτλο «Ο Διάλογος με τον άνθρωπο» πραγματεύεται την ίδια την τυπολογία, ξεκινώντας από τον τρόπο που τα Καπετανόσπιτα εγκαθίστανται στον οικισμό και την σύγκρισή τους μέσω της ταξινομίας. Στη συνέχεια, παράλληλα με την ανάγνωση της ταξινομίας, αναλύονται μέσω του βλέμματος και της κίνησης οι επιμέρους χώροι των κατοικιών: η Είσοδος, η Αυλή, η Σάλα και ο Οντάς. Το κεφάλαιο κλείνει με τον τρόπο που αποτυπώνονται χωρικά οι σχέσεις μεταξύ των κατοίκων και συγκεκριμένα οι έμφυλες διακρίσεις εντός της οικιστικής ζώνης. Μεταβαίνοντας στο τρίτο κεφάλαιο -τα «Δύο Αρχοντικά», η εργασία, με υπόβαθρο δύο δείγματα της τυπολογίας, τα αρχοντικά Παπακωνσταντή και Ιωαννίδη εμβαθύνει στο πώς οι μνήμες των καπετάνιων μεταφράζονται χωρικά αλλά και σε ζητήματα που αφορούν την μεταποίηση των κατοικιών στην πάροδο του χρόνου, έτσι ώστε να εξακολουθούν να είναι κατοικήσιμες μέχρι και σήμερα.	el
heal.abstract	This Lecture discusses the inherited structures of traditional architecture through the human perceptual process, in an attempt to discover the deeper semantic relationships that they express through form. The research interest stems from more general questions about the way in which traditional architecture is approached by modern scholars and to what extent it ultimately succeeds in being educational. The Captain's Houses that were developed during the 16th and 17th centuries in Lindos, Rhodes, were chosen as a case study. The work is divided into the following three chapters. In the first chapter, entitled "The Dialogue with the Past", the history of the settlement, its long-standing maritime tradition and its urban development are analyzed. At the same time, the origin of the typology as well as its influences from the Architecture of the Knights are investigated. The second chapter, entitled “The Dialogue with Human”, discusses the typology itself, starting from the way the Captain’s Houses are installed in the settlement and their comparison through taxonomy. Then, in parallel with the reading of the taxonomy, the individual spaces of the residences are analyzed through the gaze and movement: the Entrance, the Courtyard, the Hall and the Ondas. The chapter closes with the way in which the relationships between the residents are spatially reflected, and specifically the gender discrimination within the residential area. Moving on to the third chapter – the “Two Mansions”, the work, with the background of two examples of the typology, the Papakonstantis and Ioannidis mansions, delves into how the memories of the captains are translated spatially but also into issues concerning the transformation of the residences over time, so that they continue to be habitable to this day.	en
