heal.abstract | This Thesis focuses on analyzing digital health as an investment opportunity, examining the rapid growth and technological innovations that characterize this sector. Digital technologies such as augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), artificial intelligence (AI), wearables, and big data analytics platforms now play a central role in reshaping healthcare delivery, offering new opportunities for investors and businesses. The primary objective of this study is to highlight the importance of these technologies in the healthcare sector, evaluate their economic and social returns, and propose specific strategies for their optimal utilization. Through data analysis and case studies, the research explores how digital health technologies can enhance patients' quality of life, improve the efficiency of healthcare systems, and reduce the costs of care delivery. Additionally, the dissertation focuses on emerging investment opportunities within the sector and the challenges associated with their adoption. These challenges include high initial investment costs, regulatory restrictions, and the social acceptance of technologies. Strategies such as fostering partnerships, supporting startups, managing risk, and focusing on emerging technologies are proposed to maximize investment efficiency. The study concludes with recommendations for investors and businesses, emphasizing the trends shaping the future of digital health, such as personalized care, the integration of blockchain, and the expanded use of AR/VR. The findings of this dissertation indicate that digital health is one of the most promising areas for investment, with the potential to significantly improve healthcare services and enhance the sustainability of healthcare systems | en |
