heal.abstract	Το Ελαιοχώρι Κυνουρίας βρίσκεται στους πρόποδες του Παρθενίου όρους. Εκεί που κατά τη μυθολογία σύχναζε ο τραγοπόδαρος θεός Πάνας. Στην αρχαιότητα αποτελούσε το όριο του Άργους με την Σπάρτη και την Τεγέα. Είναι ο τόπος καταγωγής μου όπου μεγάλωσα και έπαιξα ως παιδί . Στη προσπάθεια να αναλύσω εκ των υστέρων την περιοχή, αναζήτησα την ιστορία του χωριού από την αρχαιότητα μέχρι τα τέλη του 20ου αιώνα. Συνάντησα στράτες, ερειπωμένα κελύφη και χνάρια του παρελθόντος. Αρχαία τείχη, πηγάδια, δρόμους, χάνια και ταυτόχρονα ερειπωμένους οικισμούς, τον σταθμό του τρένου, το σχολείο και εγκαταλελειμμένα ελαιοτριβεία. Η πληθώρα των ιστορικών στοιχείων σε συνδυασμό με τα κτίρια που στερούνταν πλέον χρήσης , με οδήγησαν να σκεφτώ τρόπους επανάχρησης του εγκαταλελειμμένου κελύφους , ώστε να στεγαστεί και μελλοντικά να εμπλουτιστεί όλη η πληροφορία που περιγράφει την εξέλιξη του χωριού . Αποτέλεσμα αυτής της αναζήτησης, ήταν να επιλεγεί ως περιοχή μελέτης το ελαιοτριβείο που βρίσκεται στο σημερινό κέντρο του χωριού, την πλατεία, εντάσσοντας με αυτό τον τρόπο και τους υπαίθριους χώρους της στον νέο σχεδιασμό. Η εργασία προτείνει λοιπόν τη δημιουργία ενός κέντρου τεκμηρίωσης και έρευνας των παραδοσιακών μονοπατιών της περιοχής, ως τμήμα της τοπικής πολιτιστικής κληρονομιά. Ως εκ τούτου η νέα σύνθεση επανεξετάζει τη σχέση του ελαιοτριβείου με την πλατεία και τους όμορους υπαίθριους χώρους, σε μία προσπάθεια να λειτουργήσουν ως ένα σύνολο κλειστών και ανοιχτών δημόσιων χώρων που θα συντελέσουν στη δημιουργία ενός νέου πολιτιστικού πόλου για το χωριό .	el
heal.abstract	The village of Elaiohori Kynourias is located a t the foothills of Mount Parthenion, where, according to mythology, the goat-footed god Pan used to frequent. In ancient times, it marked the boundary between Argos, Sparta, and Tegea. It is my place of origin, where I grew up and played as a child. In my effort to understand aposteriori, the area, I sought the history of the village from antiquity to the end of the 20th century. I encountered paths, ruined buildings, and traces of the past—ancient walls, wells, roads, inns, and at the same time, abandoned settlements, the train station, the school, and neglected olive oil mills. The abundance of historical elements, combined with the buildings that were no longer in use, led me to think of ways to repurpose the abandoned structures so that they could house and, in the future, enrich all the information that describes the village's evolution. The thesis, proposes the creation of a center that documents and promotes the local pathways as a cultural heritage. As a result of this search, the olive oil mill located in the current center of the village, the square, was chosen as the area of study, thereby incorporating the outdoor spaces into the new design. Consequently, the new composition reevaluates the relationship between the olive oil mill and the square, as well as the neighboring outdoor spaces, in an effort to function as a cohesive whole of enclosed and open public spaces that will contribute to the creation of a new cultural hub for the village.	en
