heal.abstract	Ο Ταινιόδρομος Κράκαρη, αποτελεί σημαντικό τεκμήριο της βιομηχανικής κληρονομιάς του Πειραιά και κατάλοιπο του ιστορικού συγκροτήματος της Α.Ε.Ε.Χ.Π.Λ., μιας από τις πρώτες και μεγαλύτερες βιομηχανίες του νεοσύστατου Ελληνικού κράτους. Αν και έχει ανακηρυχθεί διατηρητέο μνημείο από το Υπουργείο Πολιτισμού, η θέση του εντός του λιμένα, οι πιέσεις για αξιοποίηση της περιοχής και το ασταθές ιδιοκτησιακό καθεστώς, καθιστούν την ύπαρξή του επισφαλή. Η πρόταση επανάχρησης στοχεύει, στη διατήρηση και ανάδειξη του κτιρίου με τρόπο που σέβεται την ιστορική και μορφολογική του ταυτότητα. Περιλαμβάνει τη δημιουργία υπερυψωμένης διαδρομής στον όροφο, εκεί όπου λειτουργούσε η ταινία μεταφοράς, συνδέοντας τον Πολυχώρο Λιπασμάτων με τον Μόλο Κράκαρη. Παράλληλα, το ισόγειο τμήμα διαμορφώνεται σε τρεις διακριτούς εκθεσιακούς και μουσειακούς χώρους, με ελαφριές κατασκευές που διατηρούν τη διαφάνεια και την αρχική αισθητική του κελύφους. Ιδιαίτερη σημασία έχει τέλος, η ανακατασκευή του τμήματος που κατέρρευσε από τον σεισμό, με σύγχρονα υλικά που θα ενισχύουν στατικά το κτίριο, διατηρώντας ταυτόχρονα την οπτική διάκριση μεταξύ παλαιού και νέου. Ο Ταινιόδρομος Κράκαρη, αναδεικνύεται έτσι σε "μουσείο του εαυτού του", σε ενεργό μνημείο που επανασυνδέεται με την ιστορία της πόλης και λειτουργεί ως τοπόσημο για τη Δραπετσώνα και τον Πειραιά.	el
heal.abstract	The Krakaris Conveyor Belt is a significant testament to the industrial heritage of Piraeus and a remaining structure of the historic complex of the Greek Company of Chemical Products & Fertilizers Limited, one of the first and largest industries of the newly established Greek state. Although it has been declared a protected monument by the Ministry of Culture, its location within the port, the pressure for redevelopment in the area, and the unstable ownership status render its future uncertain. The reuse proposal aims at preserving and highlighting the building while respecting its historical and morphological identity. It includes the creation of an elevated walkway on the upper level, where the conveyor belt once operated, connecting the Lipasmata Multifunctional Park with the Krakaris Pier. Simultaneously, the ground floor is redesigned into three distinct exhibition and museum spaces, using lightweight structures that maintain the transparency and original aesthetic of the shell. Particular importance is given to the reconstruction of the section that collapsed during the earthquake, using contemporary materials that will provide structural reinforcement while ensuring a clear visual distinction between old and new. Thus, the Krakaris Conveyor Belt is showcased as an active monument, which reconnects with the city’s past and serves as a landmark for Drapetsona and Piraeus.	en
