heal.abstract	This thesis presents an architectural design proposal for the new Archaeological Museum of Lefkada. The aim is to create a contemporary museum that will showcase the island’s rich archaeological heritage — much of which remains unpublished and stored in facilities outside Lefkada, such as in Athens and Ioannina. The proposed museum aspires to become a vibrant cultural hub with a social, educational, and recreational character, bringing both residents and visitors closer to the history and identity of the island. The design focuses on the harmonious integration of the building into Lefkada’s natural and urban landscape, taking into account the local scale, architectural language, and morphological features of the area. Particular emphasis was also placed on the relationship between exterior and interior, both in terms of the visitor’s transition between them and through visual contact, with the aim of creating spaces that enrich the overall museum experience.	en
heal.abstract	Η παρούσα διπλωματική αποτελεί μια πρόταση αρχιτεκτονικού σχεδιασμού του νέου Αρχαιολογικού Μουσείου της Λευκάδας. Σκοπός μας ήταν η δημιουργία ενός σύγχρονου μουσείου το οποίο θα φιλοξενήσει τον πλούσιο αρχαιολογικό θησαυρό της Λευκάδας, μεγάλο μέρος του οποίου έως σήμερα φυλάσσεται σε αποθήκες στην Αθήνα και τα Ιωάννινα, θα φέρει πιο κοντά τους ανθρώπους με την ιστορία του νησιού και θα έχει κοινωνικό, εκπαιδευτικό και ψυχαγωγικό χαρακτήρα. Κατά τον σχεδιασμό μας απασχόλησε η ένταξη του κτηρίου στο φυσικό και αστικό τοπίο της Λευκάδας, σεβόμενο την κλίμακα, την αρχιτεκτονική γλώσσα και τη μορφολογία της περιοχής. Ιδιαίτερη έμφαση δώσαμε στον συσχετισμό κλειστού και υπαίθριου χώρου που διαμορφώνεται, τόσο κατά την μετάβαση του επισκέπτη από τον έναν στον άλλο, όσο και μέσα από την οπτική επαφή του με αυτούς, με στόχο την δημιουργία χώρων που ενισχύουν το μουσειακό βίωμα.	el
