heal.abstract	Η εργασία διερευνά τον οικιακό χώρο ως κοινωνική, πολιτική και φαντασιακή κατασκευή, εστιάζοντας στις αντιφάσεις και τις μεταμορφώσεις του από τον μοντερνισμό μέχρι σήμερα. Μέσα από ιστορικές, θεωρητικές και σύγχρονες προσεγγίσεις, αναλύεται το σπίτι όχι μόνο ως υλικό κέλυφος αλλά ως πεδίο μνήμης, ταυτότητας και εξουσίας. Στο πρώτο μέρος εξετάζεται η συγκρότηση της έννοιας του οικιακού χώρου μέσα από φιλοσοφικές και ανθρωπολογικές αναφορές. Στο δεύτερο μέρος, ερευνώνται τα “παράσιτα” της κατοίκησης, μελέτες περίπτωσης όπως η IKEA και η Airbnb, που αναδιαμορφώνουν τη σχέση μεταξύ ιδιωτικού και δημόσιου χώρου, κατανάλωσης και εμπειρίας. Στο τρίτο μέρος, αναλύονται σύγχρονες μορφές κατοίκησης που αμφισβητούν τον παραδοσιακό οικιακό χώρο, μέσα από θεωρίες σωματικότητας και έργα αρχιτεκτόνων όπως ο Andrés Jaque. Η μελέτη καταλήγει σε μια κριτική διερεύνηση της ίδιας της έννοιας του domesticity: κατά πόσο εξακολουθεί να ισχύει ως θεωρητική κατηγορία ή αν χρειάζεται να επανεφευρεθεί. Ο στόχος δεν είναι η διατύπωση ενός “σωστού” μοντέλου κατοίκησης, αλλά η ανάδειξη της κατοίκησης ως ανοιχτής, αβέβαιης και πολιτικής διαδικασίας.	el
heal.abstract	This thesis explores domestic space as a social, political, and imaginative construct, focusing on its contradictions and transformations from modernism to the present. Through historical, theoretical, and contemporary perspectives, the house is analyzed not merely as a physical shell but as a field of memory, identity, and power. The first part examines the formation of domestic space through philosophical and anthropological references. The second part investigates the “parasites” of dwelling, with case studies such as IKEA and Airbnb, which reshape the relationship between private and public, consumption and experience. The third part analyzes contemporary forms of inhabitation that challenge the traditional notion of the home, through theories of embodiment and architectural works by figures such as Andrés Jaque. The study ultimately engages in a critical reassessment of domesticity itself: whether it still holds relevance as a theoretical category or requires reinvention. The aim is not to propose a “correct” model of dwelling, but to reveal inhabitation as an open, uncertain, and political process.	en
