heal.abstract	Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία με τίτλο «Στα Ίχνη του Τοπίου: Βοτανικός Κήπος Μνήμης στην Τήλου διερευνά πώς ο τόπος μπορεί να λειτουργήσει ως φορέας μνήμης και εμπειρίας. Η πρόταση για έναν βοτανικό κήπο στον εγκαταλελλημένο οικίσμο, Μικρό Χωριό, της Τήλου είναι μια ήπια αρχιτεκτονική παρέμβαση, που επιδιώκει να αναδείξει τα υπάρχοντα ίχνη και να επαναπροσδιορίσει τη σχέση ανθρώπου και τοπίου. Η επιλογή της Τήλου έγινε με βάση τον ιδιαίτερο χαρακτήρα του νησιού - ξεχωρίζει για το άγριο τοπίο και για τις συχνές δράσεις που πραγματοποιούνται στο νησί οι οποίες έχουν κατά βάση ανθρωποκεντρικό χαρακτήρα. Από την πρώτη επίσκεψη στο νησί αντιλαμβάνεται κανείς πως πρόκειται για έναν τόπο όπου η φύση και οι άνθρωποι συνυπάρχουν με σεβασμό. Ταυτόχρονα ο τόπος απο την φύση του απομονωμένος, με μοναδικό όριο τη θάλασσα, παρέχει στον επισκέπτη τη δυνατότητα να μετατρέπεται σε πηγή μνήμης και στοχασμού. Σε συνέχεια της ανάλυσης, παρατηρήθηκε πως ο εγκαταλελειμμένος οικισμός, Μικρό Χωριό, αποτελεί χωρικά ένα κέντρο, πλέον ανενεργό λόγω της εγκατάλλειψης του στο χρόνο. Η ενεργοποίηση του πρώην οικισμού με τέσσερις ήπιες παρεμβάσεις (την πλατεία,ν τον βοτανικό κήπο, το ερευνητικό κέντρο και την διαδρομή) έχει στόχο την ανάδειξη και διατήρηση αυτού του σκηνικού τοπίου.	el
heal.abstract	This thesis, entitled “Tracing the Landscape: Botanical Garden of Memory in Tilos,” explores how a place can function as a space for memory and experience. The proposal for a botanical garden in the abandoned village of Mikro Chorio in Tilos is a gentle architectural intervention that aims to highlight existing traces and redefine the relationship between humans and the landscape. Tilos was chosen because of the unique character of the island, which stands out for the beauty of its natural landscape and the frequent activities that take place on the island, which are essentially human-centered. From the first visit to the island, one realizes that this is a place where nature and people coexist with respect. At the same time, the site, isolated by nature and bordered only by the sea, offers visitors the opportunity to reflect and reminisce. Following the analysis of the site, it was observed that the abandoned village of Mikro Chorio functions as the center of the island. This is related to both its location and its history, as it was one of the first places to be inhabited.	en
