heal.abstract	Η διπλωματική εργασία εξερευνά Παλιά Πόλη της Ξάνθης χρησιμοποιώντας το περπάτημα σαν ένα εργαλείο αστικής ανάγνωσης. Οι περιπατητικές συνεντεύξεις χρησιμοποιούνται σαν μια μέθοδος αναγνώρισης και κατανόησης της πόλης μέσω των κατοίκων και των βιωμάτων τους. Οι ιστορίες και οι αναμνήσεις τους καταγράφονται σε μια σειρά από κολάζ και σύμβολα από τα οποία προκύπτουν σημεία και περιοχές συλλογικής σημασίας. Ταυτόχρονα, αναδεικνύονται και ορισμένες τυπολογίες οι οποίες επαναλαμβάνονται μέσα στην πόλη - το σαχνισί, η βρύση, η στοά, οι πλατείες και οι σκάλες. Συνδυάζοντας τα παραπάνω με τοπογραφικές, κοινωνικές και μορφολογικές χαρτογραφήσεις συγκροτείται μια πολυδιάστατη ανάγνωση της πόλης. Η πρόταση επικεντρώνεται στον σχεδιασμό μιας διαδρομής, που συντίθεται από τις παραπάνω παρατηρήσεις, ενώ κατά μήκος της σχεδιάζονται ήπιες παρεμβάσεις, μικρής κλίμακας, που σέβονται τον χαρακτήρα της Παλιάς Πόλης και που συνδυάζονται με τους συλλόγους που δραστηριοποιούνται εκεί. Η πρόταση τελικά στοχεύει στην ανάδειξη της αρχιτεκτονικής κληρονομιάς της Παλιάς Πόλης, στην ενεργοποίηση ξεχασμένων της σημείων και στην επανοικειοποίηση των κατοίκων με τον τόπο τους.	el
heal.abstract	The project explores the Old Town of Xanthi using walking as a tool for urban reading. Walking interviews are employed as a method of identifying and understanding the city through its residents and their lived experiences. Their stories and memories are documented through a series of collages and symbols, from which places and areas of collective significance emerge. At the same time, specific typologies are highlighted as recurring elements in the urban fabric – the sahnisi, the fountain, the stoa, the squares, and the stairs. By combining these findings with topographic, social, and morphological mappings, a multidimensional reading of the city is constructed. The proposal focuses on designing a route shaped by these observations, along which gentle, small-scale interventions are introduced that respect the character of the Old Town and connect with the local associations active in the area. Ultimately, the project aims to highlight the architectural heritage of the Old Town, to activate its forgotten places, and to enable residents to reappropriate and reconnect with their city.	en
