heal.abstract	Η στεγαστική κρίση στην Ελλάδα προέρχεται από πολιτικές που αντιμετωπίζουν την κατοικία ως εμπόρευμα και όχι ως κοινωνικό δικαίωμα. Με αφορμή τον διαγωνισμό της ΠΥΡΚΑΛ, και στην περίπτωση υλοποίησής του, προτείνουμε την επανοικειοποίηση των εν δυνάμει κενών κελυφών και την διεκδίκηση τους ως κατοικία. Συγκεκριμένα, μελετάμε το κτίριο του Υπουργείου Εμπορίου και Ανάπτυξης στην πλατεία Κάνιγγος. Σίγουρα ένα τέτοιο εγχείρημα θα απαιτούσε την διαρκή συζήτηση σε συμμετοχικές διαδικασίες σχεδιασμού έτσι ώστε να συμπεριληφθούν και να αποσαφηνιστούν όλες οι ανάγκες και επιθυμίες αλλά και τα πιθανά εμπόδια. Στην δική μας πρόταση βασικούς άξονες αποτελούν η δημιουργία συνθηκών μόνιμης κατοίκησης με ποιοτικές συνθήκες διαβίωσης ταυτόχρονα με την δημιουργία χώρων και υποδομών που αναφέρονται και στην ευρύτερη γειτονιά. Στόχος μας είναι ταυτόχρονα η προσέλκυση ή και η δημιουργία νέων συνεταιρισμών χειροτεχνών-συντεχνιών, στους οποίους θα δίνεται η δυνατότητα οικονομικά προσιτής στέγης αλλά και χρήσης επαγγελματικών χώρων. Αναλυτικότερα, οι επεμβάσεις που κάνουμε στο κτίριο αφορούν την βελτίωση των συνθηκών διαβίωσης (αερισμός, ενεργειακή αναβάθμιση) αλλά και την άμεση σύνδεση με την γειτονιά. Με αρχές την συνεργατικότητα και την αλληλεγγύη προσπαθούμε να φανταστούμε χώρους στους οποίους ομάδες ατόμων θα μπορούν να συνεργάζονται και να ζουν μαζί μακριά από κερδοσκοπικά μοτίβα και να οικειοποιούνται χώρους πέραν από το κατώφλι του ιδιωτικού.	el
heal.abstract	The housing crisis in Greece stems from policies that treat housing as a commodity rather than a social right. Prompted by the PYRKAL competition, and in the event of its implementation, we propose the reappropriation of the potentially vacant shells and their reclamation as housing. Specifically, our study focuses on the building of the Ministry of Commerce and Development located in Kaningos Square. Such an endeavor would undoubtedly require continuous dialogue through participatory design processes, in order to incorporate and clarify all needs, aspirations, and potential obstacles. In our proposal, the main objectives are the creation of conditions for permanent residence with high-quality living standards, along with the development of spaces and infrastructures that also address the wider neighborhood. Our goal is simultaneously to attract or create new cooperatives of artisans and guilds, offering them the opportunity for affordable housing as well as access to professional workspaces. More specifically, the interventions proposed for the building concern the improvement of living conditions (ventilation, energy efficiency) and the direct connection with the neighborhood. Guided by the principles of cooperation and solidarity, we envision spaces where groups of individuals can live and work together, free from speculative market models, and reappropriate areas that extend beyond the threshold of the private sphere.	en
