Πανεπιστημιούπολη Ιωαννίνων- Πρόταση ολοκλήρωσης του campus.

Abstract

Η διπλωματική εργασία διαπραγματεύεται τις ελλείψεις και τα περιθώρια ολοκλήρωσης του campus της Παν/πολης Ιωαννίνων. Ξεκινώντας από μία μελέτη των διεθνών μοντέλων πανεπιστημιουπόλεων, ερευνάται η εξέλιξη της σχεδιαστικής λογικής των campus. Σε επίπεδο ελληνικής πραγματικότητας, δίνεται μεγαλύτερη έμφαση στην πανεπιστημιούπολη της Πάτρας, ξεκινώντας από την πρόταση του Κ. Δοξιάδη φτάνοντας μέχρι και στις πιο πρόσφατες αναθεωρήσεις του ρυθμιστικού της. Περνώντας στην πανεπιστημιούπολη Ιωαννίνων, ερευνάται αρχικά η θέση της σε σχέση με την πόλη και τους κοντινούς μεγάλους οδικούς άξονες. Γίνεται ανάλυση του ρυθμιστικού σχεδίου της Παν/πολης του Α.Κωτσιόπουλου του 1972, με τη μορφή masterplan, εστιάζοντας στις κυριότερες προτάσεις και τη σχεδιαστική λογική που ακολουθήθηκε όσον αφορά στην οργάνωση των χρήσεων, το οδικό σύστημα, το σύστημα κίνησης πεζών και την οργάνωση του πρασίνου. Έπειτα, παρουσιάζεται η εξέλιξη της Παν/πολης στις τρεις δεκαετίες που μεσολάβησαν από την έναρξη της ανέγερσης της έως σήμερα επισημαίνοντας τι τηρήθηκε και τι όχι από το ρυθμιστικό σχέδιο Κωτσιόπουλου. Εντοπίζονται τα γενικά και ειδικά προβλήματα, οι σύγχρονες ανάγκες και οι ελλείψεις στην υπάρχουσα κατάσταση. Στην τελική φάση της διπλωματικής, προτείνονται βασικά σημεία ολοκλήρωσης του campus, πάλι με τη μορφή masterplan, που έχουν να κάνουν κυρίως με τις χρήσεις γης, την ανέγερση νέων κτιρίων και πτερυγών, το οδικό δίκτυο, την κίνηση των πεζών και την οργάνωση του πρασίνου.

The diploma thesis treats with the deficits and the possible margins for the improvement and completion of the University Campus of Ioannina. Presenting and comparing at first, the international university models, the evolution of university campus planning is studied. Within the Helladic space and reality, the thesis concentrates on the university campus of Patras, starting from the proposal of K.Doksiadis and going as far as the most recent reviews of regulatory masterplan. After this analysis, we reach the Ioannina university campus, studying at first its location compared with the city, the city’s center and the closest high-speed road arteries. Then comes an analysis of the campus regulatory masterplan of 1972 by A.Kwtsiopoulos, focusing mainly on the most significant proposals and the planning logic followed concerning ground use, the internal road system, the pedestrian circulation system and the organization of green areas. Proceeding, the evolvement of the campus during the three decades that have passed since the beginning of its erection until today is presented, observing at the same time what was applied and what not from the Kwtsiopoulos regulatory plan. The general and specific problems are located, as well as the contemporary needs and deficits of the present situation. In the final stage of the diploma thesis, the basic points of the campus completion proposal are being presented, in the form of masterplans, focusing mainly on the ground use organization, the erection of new buildings and wings, the internal road system, the pedestrian circulation and the organization of the green areas.
