Abstract

Ένα σχολείο, θεσμός πλέον στην Ελλάδα, με εναλλακτικό εκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα, χωροθετείται στα όρια του Δήμου των Αχαρνών. Αποτελεί κοινωνικό πυκνωτή στοχεύοντας: στη συνδεση της διάσπαρτης περιοχής, στο κάλεσμα κόσμο και την προσφορα ενος «καταφύγιου» γνώσης. Απευθύνεται σε ενήλικους ανθρώπους οποιασδήποτε υπηκοότητας που δεν έχουν ολοκληρώσει την εκπαίδευση του γυμνασίου. Ένα βήμα παραπέρα για να ανοίξε ενα μονοπάτι διαμέσου μιας σήραγγας και μια πορείας προς τη μάθηση, τη κοινωνικότητα και τη προσωπική εξελιξη. Ένα σχολείο πνευματικό κέντρο, στις υποδομές μιας ευρύτερης περιοχής που θέλει να εμπλουτίσει το δημόσιο χώρο της και να γεννήσει ένα νέο τρόπο ανάγνωσής του. Το διετές πρόγραμμά του βασίζεται στην ανάπτυξη δεξιοτήτων στη γλώσσα, τα μαθηματικά, τις ξένες γλώσσες και την πληροφορική. Στοχεύει στην προσφορά εκπαιδευτικών προγραμμάτων υψηλής ποιότητας προσαρμοσμένων στις ατομικές και κοινωνικές ανάγκες των ενήλικων εκπαιδευομένων αξιοποιώντας τις εμπειρίες και τα βιώματά τους. Η λύση βασίζεται στην ανάδειξη των βασικών χώρων για τη διάρθρωση του σχολείου και των επιμερισμό τους έτσι ώστε να επωφελούνται εξαιτίας του διαφορετικού χαρακτήρα τους (δημόσιο ή ιδιωτικό). Έτσι βιβλιοθήκη, αίθουσες γραμματισμού, σεμιναρίων και Project διατάσσονται περιμετρικά σε πτέρυγες και επιστεγάζουν την υπόλοιπη σχολική δραστηριότητα που αναφέρεται σε πιο κοινόχρηστες λειτουργίες όπως διοίκηση, εκθέσεις και αμφιθέατρα, ενώ όλα αυτά καταλήγουν σε ένα μεγάλο αίθριο κεντρικά τοποθετημένο που αποτελεί μια ανοιχτή αίθουσα μάθησης, πληροφόρησης, αγορά ανακαλύψεων, αναζητήσεων και δράσεων.

A school that is now an institution in Greece, which provides an alternative educational program, and is situated in the boundaries of Acharnes municipality. It’s a social magnet, that connects the fragmented social life of this area by inviting the people and providing a ‘’shelter’’ of knowledge.No matter what their nationality is, it addresses adult people, who haven’t completed yet their secondary education. It’s a farther step, that dictates a path through a tunnel and a route to knowledge, socialization and personal development. It’s a culture center that is integrated in the municipality’s infrastructures, which has a great need to enrich it’s community space, and redify its understanding. The two year course, is based in the development of modern language, mathematics, foreign languages and computer science. It provides lessons of high quality adapted to the personal and social needs of the grown up students through the pooling of their experiences. The architectural proposal, attempts to highlight the leading spaces, and spatial arrange them, in a way that they exploit the natural resources, because of their different privacy settings. Thus, library and school rooms ( basic, seminars, projects), are arranged circumferentially in wards, above the rest of the educational space that deals with social functions and has public character, such as the management, auditoriums and exhibitions. All of them converge at a great atrium in the center of the synthesis, that is in itself an open educational room, a continuous exchange of information, quests and in general a social experience
