heal.abstract	Two exact finite-energy monopole and dyon solutions are found in an SU3 gauge theory broken down in the case of one solution to U1×U1 and in the case of the other to U2 via Higgs scalar fields. One of them is an embedding of O3 into SU3, but the other is a genuine irreducible SU3 solution. Both solutions are stable. © 1979 Società Italiana di Fisica.	en
