heal.abstract |
In a previous paper [Kanelloœoulos and Clarke, 1981 ] a joint statistics analysis of rain depolarization and attenuation was proposed, based on normal and lognormal models for the long-term depolarization and attenuation statistics, respectively [Lin, 1975; Kanelloœoulos, 1979]. However, this analysis presupposed a two-dimensional normal form for the joint statistics distribution function of the depolarization and the log of attenuation. |
