heal.abstract	Algorithms for the control of the transmission procedure in multiaccess schemes must ensure simplicity in the implementation, stability of the system operation and high efficiency for all traffic conditions. A control algorithm suitable for slotted multiaccess schemes based on monitoring the channel transmissions is proposed. A model is presented and the algorithm is analysed in detail. The performance of the algorithm is evaluated, and comparisons are made with multiaccess protocols. © 1985.	en
