The peaks met in thermoluminescence and thermally stimulated depolarization currents can in some cases be described by the Randall-Wilkins equation. A method is described for least-squares fitting of the curve to the experimental points, and the determination of the optimum parameters of the peak. The conditions to be satisfied are derived and an algorithm is given which uses the Newton-Raphson iteration procedure to solve these equations thus determining the peak's parameters. © 1986. |
