This paper deals with the evaluation of the stress field in a plate with two unequal and collinear anti-plane shear cracks and a circular inclusion. The solution for the stress state is obtained in a series-form solution. A concrete example is given of a plate with two equal cracks and a circular inclusion subjected to anti-plane shear at infinity. The problem may describe the state of stress on an equatorial section of unidirectional fiber composite when cracks appear in meridional x sections between fibers. © 1986. |
