The compatibility of the six-dimensional space-time scheme of Pappas with respect to various experimental results is studied. Detailed analysis is presented for five processes which include the decay and elastic collisions of particles, the Doppler effect at an angle, the Thomas precession and the aberration of light. It is found that it is not possible to relate three temporal energy components to one experimentally accessible energy. Besides we prove that beyond any doubt this theory cannot explain at all fundamental physical phenomena which have been well verified experimentally. Ziino's scheme suffers from similar inconsistencies. © 1989. |
