Experimental investigation of the water vapour effect on the Ca-looping process at a 10kWth Dual Fluidized Bed Facility

Abstract

Πειραματική διερεύνηση της επίδρασης του ατμού στη διεργασία Ca-looping για τη δεύσμευση διοξειδίου του άνθρακα από καυσέρια με χρήση ασβεστόλιθου, σε μία διπλή ρευστοποιημένη κλίνη των 10kWth. Εξετάζεται η επίδραση όσον αφορά το βαθμό απόδοσης της εγκατάστασης παρουσία ατμού, την ικανότητα του υλικού να αντιδρά, τις τυχόν μεταβολές στις χημικές και μηχανικές ιδιότητες του υλικού.

Experimental investigation of the water vapour effect on the Ca-looping process in order to capture carbon dioxide from flue gas using limestone, at a 10kWth dual fluidized bed facility. The effect regarding the efficiency of the facility is examined, as well as the ability of the sorbent to react, the changes in the chemical and mechanical properties of the sorbent.
