Τεχνική ανάλυση και διαχείριση κεφαλαίου

Abstract

Η συγκεκριμένη διπλωματική εργασία έχει σαν στόχο να παρουσιάσει την μέθοδο της τεχνικής ανάλυσης σαν τρόπο προσέγγισης της αγοράς. Θα παρουσιαστούν τα κυριότερα εργαλεία της μεθόδου, αυτά δηλαδή που αποτελούν τις βάσεις πάνω στις οποίες στηρίζονται όλοι σχεδόν οι τεχνικοί αναλυτές και κάποιοι επενδυτές στην προσπάθεια τους να ερμηνεύσουν και να προβλέψουν την αγορά, καθώς και θέματα διαχείρισης χαρτοφυλακίου και αντιστάθμισης κινδύνου. Σκοπός της εργασίας είναι να εκτιμήσει την αποτελεσματικότητα της μεθόδου της τεχνικής ανάλυσης με το να αξιολογήσει την ικανότητα της έναντι σε άλλες επενδυτικές στρατηγικές.

The purpose of this thesis is to appreciate the effectiveness of technical analysis systems and evaluate their ability to exceed other investment strategies. In the first stage of the study, the basic investment strategies such as fundamental analysis, technical analysis, efficient market hypothesis and dow theory are presented and compared with each other. The second stage is concerned, on the one hand, with the presentation of the basic tools of technical analysis such as moving averages, oscillators, volume and charts and, on the other hand, with the definition of the term "trend" and the study of the useful trend patterns. The third stage refers to the presentation of most useful technical analysis systems and their implementation to the General Index of Athens Stock Market the last 20 years with the use of Metastock programme. Finally, the last stage refers to the money management, a process of analyzing trades for risk and potential profits, determining how much risk, if any, is acceptable and managing a trade position to control risk and maximize profitability.
