The aim of this study is the investigation of air passenger’s behavior choosing type of airline and the various factors affecting it. The market entry of low cost airlines changed aviation system and gave passengers multiple choices for travelling. Choice behavior analysis is an essential condition for designing airline services and pricing policy. The behavior of air passengers is examined through interview survey at AIA in 2010. The questionnaires were prepared according to basic principles of survey design and were tested through pilot interviews, so that any obscurities would be eliminated. The sample consists of 130 passengers travelling to London. According to the results, the factors that influence choice are ticket fare, security and airport location (principal or secondary). Also, the study indicates that LCC is more attractive to leisure passengers, young people and those who don’t have high values of flight frequency and meal.
