heal.abstract	Αντικείμενο της παρούσας μεταπτυχιακής εργασίας αποτελεί η μελέτη, η προστασία και η ανάδειξη της πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς μέσω της χρήσης σύγχρονων μεθόδων γεωμετρικής τεκμηρίωσης και εικονικής περιήγησης. Ως αντικείμενο επιλέχθηκε ένα σημαντικό έργο του αρχιτέκτονα Δημήτριου Πικιώνη (1887-1968), το λιθόστρωτο μονοπάτι που διασχίζει τον λόφο των Μουσών ή Φιλοπάππου, δυτικά της Ακρόπολης. Το μονοπάτι αυτό, το οποίο αποτελεί τόσο νεώτερο μνημείο όσο και αρχαιολογικό χώρο, έχει ιδιαίτερη αρχιτεκτονική και ιστορική αξία, καθώς συνδέει τον δυτικό αυχένα του Φιλοπάππου με το υψίπεδο που οδηγεί στα Προπύλαια, προσφέροντας μοναδική θέα προς τον βράχο της Ακρόπολης από τα δυτικά. Επίσης, ιδιαίτερος είναι και ο αρχιτεκτονικός του σχεδιασμός, καθώς υλοποιήθηκε επιτόπου με τη χρήση θραυσμάτων και μαρμάρινων ενθεμάτων από κατεδαφισμένα νεοκλασικά κτήρια της Αθήνας. Η εργασία επικεντρώνεται στη γεωμετρική τεκμηρίωση και ανάδειξη ενός τμήματος του μονοπατιού, αναδεικνύοντας τη μοναδικότητά του. Μέσα από εκτεταμένη βιβλιογραφική έρευνα και μελέτη ιστορικών πηγών, διερευνήθηκαν η κατασκευή του μνημείου και το έργο του αρχιτέκτονα, προσφέροντας μια βαθύτερη κατανόηση της αρχιτεκτονικής και πολιτιστικής του σημασίας. Με την αποτύπωση του τμήματος του λιθόστρωτου, λήφθηκαν τα κατάλληλα δεδομένα και με την επεξεργασία τους δημιουργήθηκαν τα τρισδιάστατα μοντέλα, που αποτελούν την βάση για την εικονική περιήγηση. Τέλος, δημιουργήθηκε η εικονική περιήγηση, στο πλαίσιο της οποίας, ο χρήστης έχει τη δυνατότητα να περιηγηθεί στο τμήμα αυτό του μονοπατιού και να αντλήσει πληροφορίες τόσο για το ίδιο το λιθόστρωτο όσο και για τον λόφο του Φιλοπάππου, ενισχύοντας τη σύνδεση με τον ιστορικό και πολιτιστικό πλούτο της περιοχής.	el
heal.abstract	The subject of this master’s thesis is the study, preservation, and highlighting of cultural heritage through the use of modern methods of geometric documentation and virtual tours. In this case, the research subject is an important work by the architect Dimitris Pikionis (1887-1968), the cobbled path that traverses the Hill of the Muses or Philopappou Hill, located west of the Acropolis. This pathway, which is both a modern monument and an archaeological site, holds significant architectural and historical value, as it connects the western slope of Philopappou Hill with the plateau leading to the Propylaea, offering a unique view of the Acropolis rock from the west. The architectural design of the pathway is also noteworthy, as it was implemented on-site using fragments and marble inlays from demolished neoclassical buildings in Athens. This thesis focuses on the geometric documentation and highlighting of a part of the cobbled path, emphasizing its uniqueness. Through extensive bibliographic research and study of historical sources, the construction of the monument and the work of the architect were explored, providing a deeper understanding of its architectural and cultural significance. During the documentation of this part of the stone pathway, the necessary data were collected, and, after processing, 3D models were created that serve as the basis for the virtual. Finally, a virtual tour was created, allowing users to explore this part of the path and gather information about the cobblestone path itself as well as Philopappou Hill, thereby strengthening their connection to the historical and cultural richness of the area.	en
